Unforgiveness is a Drag

“Unforgiveness” is like dragging around a 40 lb. weight tied to your ankle.

It will slow you down and can sometimes slow you down to a crawl.

Most often people will push down an “unforgiveness” into the deep recesses of their mind, not realizing the affect it is having on their life. Sometimes it is just too painful to deal with, so they decide not to deal with it at all.

An “unforgiveness” can last a lifetime,

and many regrets are the result.

It actually takes more energy to push down “unforgiveness” than it is to bring it out into the open and process it appropriately so as to give it closure.

An often seen symptom of “unforgiveness”, is weight gain. Trying to avoid the painful or irritable feelings is done through overeating as a way to numb out or distract oneself from the inflamed emotions.

When starting the journey of a new and better life, it is important to deal with the “unforgiveness” in your past first. Otherwise you will be waisting a whole lot of your precious life, looking back and dwelling on it with a negative mindset. A whole day can be lost pondering over a situation that has not been resolved.

If you make the sincere effort to transform “unforgiveness” into forgiveness, you will reap the abundant rewards that you never realized could possibly exist. As you forgive, you will be forgiven. You “Reap what You Sow”.

Consider starting right now, to identify all the “unforgiveness” in your life. Transform it into “forgiveness” using love, compassion and understanding and let go of that 40 lb. weight, so that you can run to your goals and make your dreams a reality.
